Robert M. Sanger is a criminal defense lawyer in Santa Barbara, California where he has practiced for over 33 years. He is a partner in the law firm of Sanger & Swysen.
For Delane Sims the horror of losing a loved one to murder is all too real. An active member of her community, she has always taken a firm stance against the death penalty. When her younger brother, who she cared for like a son, was murdered, she was devastated by the loss.

Virginia Van Zandt joined DPF’s board in 1993. Virginia has been a non-profit professional in the Bay Area for 25 years, serving as Administrative Director for Bay Area Video Coalition, Director of Development for the California College of Arts and Crafts and Youth Law Center, Executive Director for the San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center, and development consultant to many non-profit organizations.

Reverend Byron Williams has served as pastor of the Resurrection Community Church since 2002. He is also a syndicated columnist and writes a twice-weekly social/political column for the Oakland Tribune.
Dick Wollack founded Premier Pacific Vineyards, the largest developer of high-end vineyards in California Oregon and Washington. He also is the co-proprietor of two wine brands: Expression and Tetra. He has been in the real estate investment business since 1971.
