Trump, the death penalty and its links with America’s racist history

This week, Donald Trump sanctioned the execution of the only woman on federal death row: Lisa Montgomery. She was the 11th prisoner to be killed since the president restarted federal executions in July 2020. Listen to a report by Ed Pilkington, Chief Reporter for the Guardian.
